Emmanuel Bach is a guitar player, arranger, and producer aiming from south Brazil, who is now based in Brandon, MB CANADA. His music infuses the Brazilian grooves with the contemporary jazz language. Besides releasing two albums as a leader, he shared the stage with world-class musicians such as Ivan Lins, Airto Moreira, Flora Purim, Oscar Stagnaro, and Filó Machado.

Emmanuel Bach is a guitar player, arranger, and producer who began his musical journey in south Brazil, who has now made his way to Canada and based in Brandon, MB. His music infuses the Brazilian grooves with the contemporary jazz language that he has developed into a style all his own that captivates, entertains and gives the audience a unique musical experience.
Pursuing his dreams of creating music and developing a career in the music industry, Emmanuel was accepted and studied at Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA in 2013 and was honored on the Dean’s List. Education has always played a big part in Emmanuel’s journey as he is also an educator himself and is now studying once more at Brandon University and will be completing this degree in 2023.
Releasing two albums as bandleader, producer and composer Emmanuel Bach & Grupo (2015) and Emmanuel Bach and Grupo (2017) that have received enthusiastic reviews from national press in Brazil and features in jazz-based publications internationally. Emmanuel has graced many other album projects and recordings, with over 10 years of studio work, with many other artists such as; Giovanna Bertolini, Fran Rosas and more. He has shared the stage as a side-man with world-class musicians such as Ivan Lins, Airto Moreira (Santana, Miles Davis, Herbie Handcock, Weather Report), Flora Purim (Chick Corea, George Duke, Dizzy Gillespie), Oscar Stagnaro, and Filó Machado. He has graced many festival stages such as Curitiba Jazz Festival (2019) and Nhundiaquara Jazz Festival (2018).
Now, with the move to central Canada, Emmanuel is building his band and getting ready to record a new album with a release date in mid-2023. While Emmanuel has not been on the Canadian jazz scene for long, he is an exciting new addition to the musical landscape and promises to bring many new flavours to audiences across Canada.
